7.         THE MORNING SUN

In the mist of darkness
And blind to the stars,
You can see no colour but Grey
And see no hope but pain.

But one’s eyes could see the stars
Even if they are far, Far away.
They are there they are hope,
Colourful, they are like the Sun.

These eyes can see for they want to,
This heart can feel for it wants to.
These hands can work for they want to
And things do work for they want to.

Sit back friends of the night,
Sit and watch for the darkest might.
Nothing will change in the dull,
Nothing but your age
We have then morning sun
And we have dawn.
We have stars to aim at
And we have you.
