69.            APPLYING THE SOUL’S INSTINCT

Man like animals have instinct
which must be tamed with the heart
as it is an instant reaction
through the soul to the body
where the soul is only the servant.

It has stored the memory
of the body with code
which can be disciplined
by refinement of action
as it coordinates with the spirit.

Therefor must the body be trained
both by the meditating mind
and reasonable physical action
to become a clear spiritual force
in service of the Spirit.
