Like a phoenix is this illness
Its destruction leaves you breathless
And its victims heartless
Against the monster of loch Ness.

Bagpipes plays my Amazing Grace
As I attack this fearful place
There is madness in our race
And past normality I race
To bring good news to this case
Past its medical space.

Each night when I swallow this bitter pill
I place a relapse on the window-sill
Alone I live as an individual.
All my affairs are casual.

Conquered is the illness of Basil
The negative symptoms are in retreat
With the will to fight and a bit of Maslow.
Now in an action group I treat
Stigma and discrimination like a marshmallow
As I call on your support to follow.
