2.   THE LITTLE BALL OF LIFE

From a distance shine this blue star,
As it draws near like a car,
How did your small image grow
And I can see your white dew
Moving over blue oceans
Lined with darker regions.

Admiring this gem of space
As it brought forth an inquisitive race
Whose historical scars we can trace
As they call earth the place
And their survival, an economical case.

How did their numbers grow
Leaving behind a long poor row
As those which share enrich the few
Whose interests is a productively focused crew,
Whose labour is like an endless screw
Confined to the landlords called the few.

Little ball of life
You can only break free
If you can share individually
The owner’s fare of pace,
That is if you dare.
